Digital Marketing Assistant Job Description


Following continued growth over the past year, we are now recruiting for a part-time Digital Marketing Assistant to work with us across various client projects.



  • Flexible hours; initially two days (15 hours) a week, but we are happy for you to work these hours to fit around your schedule (on the proviso that key dates and deadlines are of course met).

  • Remote working; we are also happy for you to work from home, but regular online catch-up calls are required. This will be weekly or as and when required.

  • An hourly rate will be agreed depending on experience.


Skills and Experience required

Please only apply if you can demonstrate experience in the following areas:

  • Social media marketing: creating engaging content plans, scheduling content and experience particularly of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Pinterest.

  • Search engine optimisation (SEO): familiar with SEO, knowing how to increase the number of visitors to websites and achieve high-ranking search engine placements.

  • Pay-per-click (PPC): understand how PPC works and create basic campaigns. Experience using keyword planning tools such as Google Keyword Planner.

  • Website management: must be familiar with website content management; such as creating and uploading copy and images. Ideally with knowledge of both Wordpress and Shopify.

  • Email marketing: experience of creating and running MailChimp e-mail campaigns.

  • Google analytics: understand Google Analytics and able to analyse data accordingly.


Other responsibilities include

As a Digital Marketing Assistant, you'll also need to:

  • Communicate with clients and affiliates via email and phone as required.

  • Take on ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.

  • Conduct keyword research and website statistics reports.

  • Monitor the performance of client websites and make recommendations for improvements.

  • Contribute to company blogs and manage email communications.

  • Keep up to date with current digital trends.

  • Can demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.

  • Is passionate about digital marketing.

  • Can effectively plan and coordinate their time / is comfortable working remotely.
